Sources & method

Accuracy with the scripture comes first. The Sanskrit is taken only from authoritative editions and is never altered; verses still awaiting verification are kept out of search results rather than published unverified.

Sanskrit text: Reproduced from authoritative editions of the Bhagavad Gita. The Devanagari and transliteration are never paraphrased or auto-generated — only verified source text is published.
English translation: Based on the translation of Swami Sivananda (The Divine Life Society).
Hindi translation: Based on the translation of Swami Ramsukhdas (Gita Press, Gorakhpur).
Commentary: Explanatory commentary is synthesised from classical and modern sources — the Bhāṣya of Adi Shankaracharya, and the commentaries of Swami Chinmayananda, Swami Vivekananda and Swami Prabhupada (Gita Press, Gorakhpur).
